INTRODUCTION TO INSECTS
In this presentation, we will explore the wonderful world of insects!
Consisting of an educational and hands on activity component, workshops allow participants to learn through either a visual, auditory or kinesthetic style. Broken up into sections, some of the topics we will introduce participants to are:
- Body Structure – we look at the structure of a insect and what their bodies are made up of
- Habitats – we will explore the different habitats they can live in
- Lifecycle – look at the differences between species and learn about life-cycles
While we learn about how amazing insects are, participants will get involved with a range of hands on activities to compliment the content delivered, including meeting some of our awesome insects!
All workshops are held at our preferred function facilities located in Buderim or Cotton Tree. These facilities are modern and spacious with disability access along with access to an outside undercover area. Set in natural settings, there’s plenty of parking and has kitchen facilities if required.
If we are visiting you, then all we need is an area where we can set up a few separated tables for our interactive activities. This can easily be achieved in a standard classroom, daycare or function room. We will arrive 20 minutes prior to set up all our goodies and get ready for the workshop.
We are very flexible and will work with you to ensure you get the educational experience you desire so if you have any questions at anytime, please don’t hesitate to chat to us!
